How Dino Melaye escaped notice of recall from INEC officials at NASS

It was an obvious drama as Senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi West Senatorial district abruptly rushed out of the senate session and went straight to his car which was already waiting at exactly 1. 50pm in order evade being served notice of recall by INEC officials.

The speed with which the embattled lawmaker came out of session attracted the crowd that had gathered to see the turn of events.

An official of INEC identified as Nura Mohammed was seen with an envelope trying to get his attention at a point he was entering his car, but failed to hand him the document.

Effort to speak with the INEC officials did not yield results as they all maintained sealed lips.
